The explosion to the left

 was added with Adobe After Effects.

Here we have Knox Brand Gelatine

 used to create the illusion of skin.

Again, the bullet ricochet

and the sparks you see on

the right were added in Adobe After Effects. 

For this shot, it seems

the victim's head is bursting. 

Try it yourselves by

filling up a ziplock with fake

blood, sticking it in a mesh mask,

and stepping on it.

Probably my favorite shot in

the film.  It just worked so

well with the music I chose.

The brief moment before they

take on a league of the undead.
